Our Programs
Outdoor Chattanooga’s programs connect people to the outdoors! We specialize in beginner-friendly, no to low-cost recreation activities like canoeing, flatwater and whitewater kayaking, cycling and mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, archery and much more. Guided tours, programs with equipment, family-oriented events, workshops, and classes allow adults and kids of all ages to interact with the outdoors in local parks and wild areas. The Outdoor Chattanooga Center in Coolidge Park serves as a home base for our programs, year-round. Our second facility at the City of Chattanooga’s Greenway Farm Park in Hixson operates during the spring, summer, and fall. Outdoor Chattanooga’s highly trained staff boasts years of experience leading groups and guiding individuals. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality instruction while maintaining a focus on education and stewardship. Find a list of our programs below or visit our catalog to register online. Please note, registration for most programs will open 2 weeks in advance of the program/event date due to popularity of our programs. To contact us to check the status of our programs, call our Outdoor Chattanooga HOTLINE at 423-287-LEAF(5323).
