Rapid Learning

Outdoor Chattanooga’s Rapid Learning Whitewater Kayak Program provides formal and equipped kayak instruction for beginner and seasoned kayakers to learn and develop the skills needed to safely and confidently paddle whitewater streams.

Cumberland Trail Hiking Series

Outdoor Chattanooga aims to connect you with this scenic trail by offering 12 different short section hikes  (4-7 miles each) throughout the year, including half-day hikes and equipped overnight backpacking adventures.

Intro to Mountain Biking

Leave the asphalt behind and get in gear for the trails with Outdoor Chattanooga’s Intro to Mountain Biking Class.

Mountain to Town

Mountain to Town Bike Adventure is a guided downhill mountain bike ride that highlights the scenic trails atop Lookout Mountain and how they connect to the Tennessee Riverwalk all the way to downtown Chattanooga!

Fireside

Fireside is a free, family friendly, outdoor music series hosted by Outdoor Chattanooga and sponsored by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union that gathers around a campfire at the City of Chattanooga’s Greenway Farm Park.

Adaptive Cycling

Through the use of adaptive cycling equipment, this program provides individuals with disabilities the ability to cycle along the beautiful Tennessee River.

“Booker T. Washington State Park is proud to now offer an all-terrain wheelchair—helping visitors with mobility challenges have more access to trails and serene spots to enjoy free of charge.
The chairs are available for both children and adults and can be operated independently or with the option of allowing caretaker control.”
