Barnard Astronomical Society presents: Telescopes 101

January 20 @ 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Did you recently acquire a telescope? Are you curious or passionate about telescopes?  Did you receive one as a gift because you have been “nice” last year?  Or perhaps you were “naughty” and wish you had one but your friend has one they never use but might let you test out?

Barnard Astronomical Society is hosting a FREE workshop about telescopes.  This is an open format, walk-in,  learning platform offered in the Philip Grymes Outdoor Chattanooga Center.

No experience necessary- stop in to get inspired and learn more about telescopes!
Bring your telescope for a hands-on instruction if you have one, definitely ask your friend before you take theirs, and it’s absolutely okay if you don’t have the manual.  Who knows, maybe the professional hobbyists of Barnard Astronomical Society can show you how to spot the next UFO, planet, red dwarf, or … ….!
