MLK Day of Service

Monday January 15th, 2024
Dr Martin Luther King was an advocate for social change. In honoring his remarkable legacy citizens are invited to participate in a city-wide effort to engage in the beautification and improvement of Chattanooga. We will have trees and shrubs to add to our parks landscaping. Volunteers will be tasked with helping park staff plant trees. Equipment, tools and gloves will be available. Staff will explain best practices for tree planting and will assist with instruction and guidance. Everyone Welcome!
