September 2021

In honor of National Wildlife Day on September 4, we’re highlighting the best places in the Chattanooga area to view wildlife in their natural habitats. National Wildlife Day was created in 2006 to honor the late wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin – the famed “Crocodile Hunter”. The day is an opportunity to appreciate the natural world that surrounds us and acknowledge the conservation efforts by many local organizations that work to preserve our wild spaces and protect wildlife habitat. Find out all about it in our September 2021 Newsletter.
