Bike Commuting 101

Traffic Skills for Bike Commuting 101 is the best first step towards learning how to drive your bicycle in traffic. Outdoor Chattanooga’s League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructors (LCI’s) have the training and expertise to teach you the techniques on how to ride safely and predictably on the road. Using video tutorials, a Q&A, and an optional group ride, our instructors can help you learn the basic rules and techniques for driving your bicycle in traffic.

This free class is offered the 3rd Monday monthly at 6:00 p.m. at Outdoor Chattanooga. Reservations required in advance.

How much does the class cost?
The class if free. We can even provide a bicycle and helmet for the group ride.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes. Reservations are required in advance.
Do I need to wear a helmet during the ride?
Yes. Helmets are mandatory for this class. We recommend you always wear a helmet when riding a bicycle.
