Tennessee Riverpark (Family)

The Tennessee Riverpark is a paved, lit, multi-use, riverside greenway that connects downtown Chattanooga to Chickamauga Dam, 8 miles to the east.

Open for bicyclists, joggers, skaters and walkers, the popularly named “Riverwalk” connects neighborhoods and business districts within Chattanooga and Hamilton County via numerous trailheads. The Riverwalk is open 24/7, except for an unlit section behind Chattanooga State Community College.

The Bike Chattanooga Bicycle Transit System operates a station at the Riverpark’s Fry Center.

For a longer ride, adult cyclists can connect to the South Chickamauga Creek Greenway via 1.8 miles of city streets.
