James Brown Skate Park

James Brown Skatepark is located on the northwest corner of the 36-acre recreation complex which includes John Davis Recreation Center, a public swimming pool, soccer, football and baseball fields, outdoor basketball courts, picnic pavilions, and a playground area. The 10,000 square ft skatepark is a two-level concrete slab that was expanded in 2016. One level has concrete features and a small pavilion while the other level has steel features.

James Brown Park is the City’s oldest park dating back to 1956. The Parks and Recreation administrative offices are located at this site and is home to the only skate park in Dalton.
