Silver Adventures: Nature Walk for Wildcrafting

December 12 @ 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Join us for an immersive nature walk designed to deepen your understanding of wildcrafting—a mindful practice rooted in respect, relationship, and stewardship of the land. This program will explore how wildcrafting goes beyond harvesting; it’s about building meaningful connections with the plants around us.

As we walk through our park landscape with an intentional lens, our staff will share insights into identifying plants, their habitats, and sustainable ways to engage with those plants.

Whether you’re new to wildcrafting or already on the journey, this experience will inspire a deeper relationship with the land and invite reflection on how stewardship begins with time, presence, and care.

For adults aged 50 and above, Outdoor Chattanooga presents  Silver Adventures—an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in nature under the guidance of our expert outdoor team. With a focus on personalized experiences, our group ratios are kept low to ensure personalized attention, and we provide all necessary recreational equipment.  Each adventure in the series offers a diverse range of guided and fully-equipped outdoor adventures, designed to foster light exercise, social connections, and a spirit of exploration.

Register Here.

Registraion will open two weeks in advance and close two days before the program.

*PLEASE NOTE* We changed our registration system on 3/4/2024 to a new software called Xplor Recreation. Even if you have participated in our programs in the past, you will have to make a new account and sign the waiver. If you need any assistance, check out this guide.
