Silver Adventures: Downtown Kayak Adventure

For adults aged 50 and above, we present Silver Adventures—an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in nature under the guidance of our expert outdoor team. With a focus on personalized experiences, our group ratios are kept low to ensure personalized attention, and we provide all necessary recreational equipment.

Discover the wonders of the great outdoors with Outdoor Chattanooga, where we curate a diverse range of guided and fully-equipped outdoor adventures, designed to foster light exercise, social connections, and a spirit of exploration.

This adventure takes you downtown on a kayak tour on the Tennessee River. Join Outdoor Chattanooga for a beginner friendly tour of downtown Chattanooga on the Tennessee River. OC’s guide staff will provide basic kayak instruction and moving water safety, then lead a leisurely paddle from the north shore around landmarks such as Audubon Island/ Wildlife Sanctuary, the Bluff View Arts District, Ross’ Landing and downtown’s historic bridges. All equipment is provided including our stable 12 foot Wilderness Systems Pungo recreational kayaks.
