Silver Adventures: A wildflower walk at Sitton’s Gulch FREE!

May 8 @ 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM

For adults aged 50 and above, Outdoor Chattanooga presents Silver Adventures—an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in nature under the guidance of our expert outdoor team. With a focus on personalized experiences, our group ratios are kept low to ensure personalized attention, and we provide all necessary recreational equipment. Each adventure in the series offers a diverse range of guided and fully-equipped outdoor adventures, designed to foster light exercise, social connections, and a spirit of exploration.

This adventure presents a hike to Sitton’s Gulch of Cloudland Canyon State Park. Join Outdoor Chattanooga staff on a free guided hike to view and identify the spring wildflowers. The trailhead is accessible from Trenton, and transportation can be provided. (park parking fee applies for those meeting at trailhead) The hike is rated moderately strenuous and will be at a leisurely pace while viewing and identifying wildflowers. The distance is about 5 miles total as an out-and-back type trail; however, each person is encouraged to walk their own challenge by choice. Pack your lunch to enjoy while observing this magnificent environment. Registration is required and additional information is shared at that time.

Registration is REQUIRED.
(Registration opens two weeks in advance and closes two days prior)
