Based on the Mayor’s recent order and the CDC’s recommendations to cancel all public events and social gatherings greater than 10 people for the next 8 weeks, we are canceling programs scheduled through May 11. We apologize for the inconvenience, but with the current health crisis, we are making these hard decisions with the safety of our community in mind.

Mountain to Town is a guided downhill mountain bike adventure that highlights the scenic trails atop Lookout Mountain and how they connect to the Tennessee Riverwalk all the way into downtown Chattanooga.
Join Outdoor Chattanooga for this all-inclusive downhill bike adventure from the top of Lookout Mountain to all the way to downtown Chattanooga. Enjoy scenic views of the city while cruising down the Guild Trail until it connects with the Tennessee Riverwalk and follows the shores of the Tennessee River into downtown Chattanooga. Outdoor Chattanooga’s experienced guides will be with you during the ride providing support and instruction. You can use your own bike or borrow one of ours at no additional cost.
Ride time is approximately 2 hours, descending nearly 1,500 ft over 13 miles with some short climbs. Appropriate for ages 12+ with an adult. This is a beginner- and family-friendly adventure, but riders must be able to independently ride, shift, maneuver, and operate a bike with hand brakes, listen and follow instructions and be able to make decisions quickly while moving at higher speeds in order to participate in this adventure.
Cost: $25 per person includes bike, helmet, transportation, guide staff and ride support. Reservations required in advance as space is limited.
