Forest Bathing is a term that emerged in Japan in the 1980s as a physiological and psychological exercise called shinrin-yoku (“forest bathing” or “taking in the forest atmosphere”).

Join Outdoor Chattanooga for a quiet walking tour to help guide you into a practice of enjoying
any natural environment and consciously connecting with what’s around you.  The easy walk is at a leisurely pace, with opportunity for guided reflection.  November brings us a time to take notice of what we are thankful for, and this is one of the intentions for this shinrin-yoku walk in the woods.

Science and research supports what we innately know, that time spent immersed in nature is good for us.  See you soon!

Pre-registration is required as we do limit participation.
Program is Free and is appropriate for all ages.
