Join Outdoor Chattanooga for a unique opportunity to kayak or canoe the quiet waters of lower North Chickamauga Creek and to learn more about several proposed projects and access along the creek. Hear updates from the project manager of the Chickamauga Lock, the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy proposals to expand the Blueway Trail and connections to the Great Eastern Trail. Guided by our staff, instruction and equipment is provided. Appropriate for beginner to experienced paddlers ages 16 and up. This is not just a kayaking trip—it’s a chance to explore the natural beauty of the creek, learn about local conservation efforts, and make lasting memories.
Location: Greenway Farm Park & Dam access (the old city park take out)
Recommended Ages: 16+
Fees: $10 per person for canoe
