Bushcraft: Fire Building (and Marshmallow S’moring) Techniques

Outdoor Chattanooga’s new Bushcraft Series offers you the chance to learn essential outdoor skills such as how to properly start a campfire, survival skills, knots, campfire cooking, navigating, and building a shelter from natural materials. This instructional series will help you become less reliant on modern conveniences so you can build a greater connection and confidence when enjoying the outdoors. Prepare for the unexpected!
Outdoor Chattanooga’s instructors will teach several techniques of firebuilding including using a bowdrill and other reliable ignition sources and materials, fire etiquette, extinguishing fires properly and a variety of fun and helpful “hacks” that may be helpful on your next adventure!
This is a FREE event appropriate for people aged 10 and up.
