2019 Fireside Concert Schedule
Lou Wamp and The Bluetastics
Thursday, October 3
Lou Wamp and a company of veteran pickers both honor the bluegrass tradition and give it a new kick. Instrumental prowess and vocal style showcase fine original material based in bluegrass, western swing, & swampy blues. They love to infuse the music with their own arrangements, original compositions, and nods to other genres of sound.
Thanks to TVFCU, the first 200 concertgoers will receive a complimentary flashlight, which will be perfect for guiding your way to the car after the concert.
Thursday, October 10
Lew Card is not just a songwriter, he is a song. He is a story.
He is a Chattanoogan and he has come a long way in recent years, with four albums and over 1,000 social media followers. Lew plays delicate acoustics with grand folk-singing and plenty of Southern grit.
What better way to enjoy a fall evening by the firepit than with a s’more? Some yummy s’more kits will be available, courtesy of TVFCU and Food City.
Stringer’s Ridge Band
Thursday, October 17
Stringer’s Ridge is a string band that crosses musical and geographic boundaries, playing mostly instrumental tunes, with diverse and eclectic influences and a strong focus on Celtic, Old-Time, and String Band music—that could veer off into other eclectic/world/fiddle genres at a moment’s notice.
Enjoy freshly popped locally-grown popcorn over the fire, compliments of Crabtree Farms and TVFCU.
Thursday, October 24
Randy Steele offers a musical journey and masterful storytelling through his original banjo music, melding the best elements of Bluegrass and Country music. He can be heard here and across the oceans as long-time frontman with Slim Pickins or with his concurrent career as an emerging solo artist.
As the fall nights turn cooler, register to win one of a dozen stadium blankets from TVFCU.
