Try Archery
Take aim at Outdoor Chattanooga’s “Try Archery” classes. These free indoor classes offer a hands-on opportunity to learn more about the sport of archery. Concentrating on range safety rules and fundamentals of archery, the class is taught using the National Archery in Schools (NASP) equipment and procedures. 2024 sessions occur at the Philip Grymes Outdoor Chattanooga Center in Coolidge Park on Tuesdays starting January 9th and ending February 20th. We offer tailored classes for all ages, adults only, and adults over 55+ and no reservations are required. Participants can arrive anytime during the program hours. It is first come, first served and no prior experience required. All equipment and instruction provided.
Cost: free. Just show up, take aim and give archery a try!

FAQs
Do I need to make a reservation or have prior experience to participate?
No reservations are required. We aim for a maximum of 20 participants to keep social distancing. You can show up anytime during the scheduled program to participate if the maximum has not yet been reached. The open hours are in consideration of varying school end times.
